We’re Hiring: Senior SEO Strategist

About The Role

This isn’t your typical Sr. SEO Strategist job posting. Well, there’s bullet lists of requirements and skills you’ll need to succeed down below, so, in that sense, it may be typical. But once you meet us, you’ll understand why we’re so excited to grow our team … and hopefully welcome you to the team, too!

We’re obviously looking for someone with all the buzzwords: “passion,” “data ninja skills,” “magic.” But at the end of the day, we want to work with someone who totally gets SEO. You know what’s happening in the industry, you keep up with all the SEO Twitter feuds (#MozControversy, anyone?), you know the tools inside and out. Oh, and you better have strong opinions about what works, what doesn’t … and be able to explain why clearly.

You’ll be client-facing, so you’ll need to carry yourself well. Plus, we’re a pretty friendly bunch here at Digital Current, so if you’re not into the whole “being social” thing, this might not be the gig for you.

If you’re still reading, we already know you’re smart, but when we meet, tell us what you do to stay on top of your game. You’ve got to be curious and constantly wanting to learn more and improve yourself. That’s why you’re looking for a job in the first place, right?

You’ll work closely with other digital marketing teams here (content, authority, account services, the usual), but if you’re applying for a senior SEO position, you already know that. We work really hard to “break down silos” (as they say) and working collaboratively is an absolute must.

Ready to read the bullet lists? We’ll give you bonus points for all the buzzwords you find. We’re not sure what those points are used for yet, but we’ll let you know.
